Here’s my no-serious-attempt log from the HellFest contest.
12 contacts, x2 for barefoot, that’s 24. Band-points per State: I see 10… 34.
I was in the chat on Josh’s YouTube Stream (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8R4fPGiWNM), and around 1:14:00 in, I asked him if he was going for the 100 bonus points. He made some excuse as to why he wasn’t going to be in costume yesterday, and I mentioned that I was gonna change into a kilt.
Josh sounded unconvinced that a Kilt is a costume. Here’s my argument… he’s in California, where nobody bats an eye at extremely various styles of attire. I’m in MN, and if it isn’t Halloween or St. Patrick’s Day, an Irish Tartan garners “WTF” looks from people, especially since I’m mostly Swedish, with no Irish or Scottish. And I’ve worn it on Halloween more often than for any other event. So to me, it counts.
So there we go: 100 Bonus Points. Total: 134.
I will probably not be submitting a log to the folks who run the contest.
