Put Up QR Code Signs For Curious Neighbors

The "FPV" view from my Luba2 mower, showing it facing NE, and there's a young couple with a toddler in a stroller. They had stopped and watched the mower work for a few minutes, and now the mother is seen holding her phone up with the camera pointed at the side of my shed, where I have QR code signs which link to pages that give more information to those curious about either my #HamRadio antennas, or the #Mammotion #Luba2 mower.
Proof positive that putting the QR code signs on the wall of my shed was not a complete waste of effort.

I don’t spend much time out in the yard. I don’t go for walks. I keep mostly to myself. It’s not that I’m UN-friendly, I’m just not extroverted. Talking to a stranger or neighbor (who I don’t already know) is almost never the high point of my day. That said, if someone else is curious about #HamRadio, I would enthusiastically answer their questions about the poles, wires, and paracord seen in my yard. Or if they’re curious about the #Mammotion #Luba2 robotic mower slowly scooting across the lawn, I’d enthusiastically help some other overworked fella realize that the amount of time & effort saved by not needing to mow every weekend is absolutely worth a couple grand, easily.

Since the mowbot sometimes gets stuck somewhere, and I have to go rescue it, I tend to keep my iPad or iPhone watching the FPV camera feed from the mower when it’s working. Yesterday evening, I saw that a young family was standing by the edge of my lawn, watching the mower. I was a mere 10′ from them, sitting in the shed. I was about to pause #Letterkenny, and get up out of the La-Z-Boy to go out and introduce myself, see if they had any questions. But then I saw that the mom was pointing the camera of her phone at my shed. They already had most of the answers they probably want.

The view of my yard from about the middle of the North edge of my corner lot, as seen from Brian Way, maybe 50' from the corner with Brain Drive. It shows the gray wall of my house, a bit of yard, and about 1/3 of the pale yellow wall of the shed. On the shed there are 2 QR code signs. The dark gray shingles are mottled with pale green lichen.

A pair of laminated 8.5x11" printouts of QR Codes, stapled to the outside wall of a wood building. The one on the left asks, "Wondering About All The Poles And Wires?" The other asks, "Curious about the mower?"
